Are you looking for employees with a solid work ethic? Finding good employees can be a very frustrating and discouraging process. Building a network of contacts is critical to finding the best candidates. The Friends of Barnabas ministry can help. We offer employers the opportunity to find great candidates without paying a fee. The Friends of Barnabas ministry was started to help people who are looking for employment. We help employees build that network of contacts necessary to find work. That is how most jobs are found, the same way it is for employers – through a network of contacts. We also introduce employees to professionals who have knowledge and experience in writing a good resume, conducting interviews and marketing themselves to employers. In short, we bring together the necessary ingredients whereby employers and employees can quickly and effectively discover each other. The service is free to both employers and employees. So give us a call and let us know how to get in touch with you. We will advise you when candidates with the skills you seek are available. If you are an employer and wish to explore how the Friends of Barnabas can help you find qualified talent for your company, call Harry Corbett.

Over 80% of the jobs in the market are never advertised. True or False?
Most jobs are found by networking. True or false?
That is why you MUST learn how to NETWORK and meet the people who can help you find that next job!
NETWORKING ...
They DON'T teach it in school... not even in college. You might have learned some of the skills when you went away to college or went off to summer camp, but you probably had no idea WHAT you were learning to do, or WHY it was important.
Someone who tries to network before they understand what it is, what it isn't, and how to do it effectively can become a "pest" to their friends and colleagues. When you learn how to do it correctly, you enhance these relationships, you don't destroy them. That is why networking is a very important life skill. The Friends of Barnabas can help you master this skill.
